Drukcase is EUDR-ready
volledige ketentransparantie voor uw drukwerk

We produce books, magazines, catalogs, and brochures exclusively with raw materials that fully comply with the European Deforestation Regulation (EUDR).

1. What is the EUDR?

The EUDR (EU Deforestation Regulation) is European legislation designed to prevent products from contributing to deforestation or forest degradation. From the end of 2025, only materials whose origin is demonstrably responsible and deforestation-free may enter the market.

The regulation applies to, among others:
· wood
· pulp
· paper
· cardboard

These raw materials form the basis of virtually all printed materials.

2. Printed materials are not covered by the EUDR – but you still bear responsibility

Books, magazines, and brochures are formally not directly covered by the EUDR. However, the base materials used are.

This means:

If you purchase printed materials yourself from a printing company (within or outside the EU), you are legally responsible for the EUDR compliance of the paper supply chain.

When the printing company uses paper that does not comply, the end product can still:
· be recalled;
· not be allowed to be traded;
· lead to enforcement actions or fines against your organization;
· cause reputational damage;
· halt processes or projects.

This risk is considerable because the EUDR imposes strict requirements on:
· origin information of paper fibers
· geolocation of production areas
· due diligence analyses
· supply chain transparency
· documentation retention

For many organizations, this represents an administrative and legal burden.

3. Drukcase: EUDR-compliant, independently verified, and fully transparent

We have had our processes assessed by an independent research agency. All our printing supplieres in Europe, Africa, and Asia work with EUDR-compliant materials and can provide complete origin information.

Our due diligence guarantee includes:
· supply chain control down to the source of the fiber
· traceable and deforestation-free paper flows
· risk analyses per supplier
· compliance with international sustainability standards
· ongoing monitoring and documentation

Thanks to this approach, you run no EUDR risk whatsoever.

4. Why organizations that purchase independently run risks

Many companies do not realize that the purchaser is ultimately responsible. Without a demonstrable due diligence process, you risk:
· recall actions
· frozen inventory
· fines
· rejected deliveries
· breach of contract with clients
· reputational damage

Therefore, it is essential to work with printing partners who have their complete supply chain in order.

· EUDR compliance
· complete supply chain transparency
· quality and specialist knowledge
· delivery reliability
· paper and supply chain origin
· sustainability standards

This is how we guarantee that your printed materials always comply with European regulations.
